Ronaldo May Leave Man United for PSG
Rumour has it that Cristiano Ronaldo is eyeing a move from Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer.
The 37-year-old Portuguese star signed with United last August, although he hasn’t made as big an impact as many would have hoped.
This was further exacerbated when Ronaldo was left out of last Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Manchester City; coach Ralf Rangnick claimed this was due to a hip injury, although not everyone was convinced when it was revealed that he had flown to Portugal for warm weather training that same weekend.
Now, per recent reports, Ronaldo may leave the English outfit for PSG next season if the former doesn’t qualify for the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League (UCL).
For many fans, to see him playing alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar at the French club would be a dream come true.
The Red Devils are set to face Atletico Madrid in UCL action next Tuesday, 15 March. If they win, they stand a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals; in any case, it may just keep Ronaldo from leaving … for now.
